Because the caller number of fraudsters is displayed as a local company's landline, it is very disguised, confusing and deceptive, and it is difficult for the public to distinguish, and it is extremely easy to be deceived.

  After investigation, since the beginning of this year, there have been more than 5,200 telecom and network fraud cases using fixed telephone numbers across the country, involving an amount of up to 500 million yuan, and the harm is very serious.

The Ministry of Public Security attached great importance to this, and immediately deployed the Shanghai public security organs to carry out in-depth research and judgment and targeted strikes.

After deep digging and expansion, the public security organs have found more than 4,300 clues involved in the case, involving 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities across the country.
