Armed with her heavy scissors, Anu prepares fabrics on a table.
The Estonian public television costume designer has transformed the entrance to the offices into a workshop for making camouflage nets for Ukraine, to help
the soldiers mobilized against the Russian offensive.
“I'm cutting up old leggings that will be used for the nets.
Their motive is very military
,” she explains.

Fabrics come from everywhere.
Even the Defense League, a paramilitary organization, gave them old army parkas.
To put it all together, old fishing nets do the trick.
The team that was assembled in a few days after the start of the war

social networks collects them in the fishing villages.
What prompted Anu to act?
Mainly
the fear of being Vladimir Putin's next target,
but also his desire to help.
“
It gives positive emotions and allows you to do something useful, when you can't give money or you don't have the possibility to welcome Ukrainians.
It's as important for our psychological health as it is for contributing to the war effort
,” she says.
Cover tanks, trenches...

On the front, they are used to cover tanks or trenches.
Ukrainians say the nets make them invisible.
The small Estonian hands are, in any case, not ready to stop.
