The gala was led by Fredrik Skavlan and Emma Molin and featured about 30 artists, including Benjmin Ingrosso, Gina Dirawi, Ola Salo, The Hives and Veronica Maggio.

All of Sweden rattles were arranged in solidarity with Ukraine and everyone who participated showed up for free.

All money raised goes to organizations that help war victims.

Standing ovations

One of the participants was the artist Maria Sur, who has been in the Ukrainian version of "The voice".

A few weeks ago she was an ordinary girl, now the 17-year-old is in Sweden and singing for her country.

Her version of Destiny's Childs song Survivor was met with standing ovations.

When Fredrik Skavlan interviewed her afterwards, the microphone stopped working, which meant that she had to tell her how much she misses her father, who is still in Ukraine, twice.

The prince and princess in place

In just over a month, the star-studded gala was put together, but it was not just some of Sweden's biggest artists who wanted to show their support for Ukraine.

Prince Carl-Philip and Princess Sofia were also present, just as the last time the gala was held.

Ukraine's ambassador to Stockholm, Andrij Plachotnjuk, was also in the audience.

The first time the gala was arranged was 29 September 2015. At that time, Sweden rattled together SEK 40 million in favor of the refugee catastrophe that occurred as a result of the Syrian war.
