The funeral of four pilots who died in the air crash accident of the KT-1 Air Force Basic Trainer will be held for three days from today (2nd) as the commander of the unit.
The mortuary was prepared at the base gym of the 3rd Training Wing of the Air Force in Sacheon, Gyeongsangnam-do.
The funeral ceremony will be held on the morning of the 4th at the Anchangnam Cultural Center of the 3rd Training Wing.
At the request of the bereaved family, the general funeral, including the mortuary, funeral, and burial, has decided not to be disclosed to the media.
Air Force Chief of Staff Park In-ho visited the funeral this morning, and Defense Minister Seo Wook is expected to pay his respects at around 3 pm.
Earlier yesterday, at the Air Force's 3rd Training Wing, two trainers collided during flight training, killing all four people on board, including a student pilot and a flight professor.
