The 8-year-old son managed to escape from the apartment after his mother suspected of injuring him with a sharp blow to his neck.

The boy managed to escape and the public alerted police and an ambulance to the scene.

The boy was then taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

District Attorney Linnea Hedström says that they have a good picture of what happened inside the apartment.

- We know that the boy was injured inside the apartment and that a sharp shelter was used.

There was also another boy inside the home.

The boys then ran out and alerted the public, she says.

Feels good under the circumstances

The boy has left the hospital and according to plaintiff's counsel Emily Töyrä, the boy is well under the circumstances.

- It has been a burning commitment for him, but with respect to the investigation, I can not comment more than that, says Emely Töyrä.

Changed setting

In an interrogation with her mother, she denied any wrongdoing.

Now the woman has changed her attitude to the crime.

- The attitude is that the client neither denies nor acknowledges, says the woman's defense lawyer Peter Mörk.

Prosecution must be brought by 20 April.

Until then, more interrogations will be held and the prosecutor is also waiting for the forensic psychiatric examination of the woman.

- There are details that we must investigate further.

We are still waiting for answers to analyzes from the technical investigation, says Linnea Hedström.
