According to the Ecological Environment Bureau of Xiongan New Area, Xiongan New Area adheres to the integrated promotion of Baiyang Lake's "water replenishment, pollution control and flood control".
Since the establishment of the new area, it has replenished 300 million to 400 million cubic meters of water for Baiyangdian every year.
At the same time, the Xiongan New Area promoted the integrated environmental management project of 78 villages in Baiyangdian, realizing the full collection, full treatment and full compliance of rural sewage.
A total of 89 domestic sewage treatment stations have been built in the pilot project of integrated comprehensive system treatment of rural sewage, garbage, public toilets and other environmental problems in Baiyangdian, Anxin County, Xiong'an New District, to ensure that "not a drop of sewage will be discharged into Baiyangdian".
In 2021, the water quality of Baiyangdiandian District will reach the Class III standard, which will be improved by one category (Class IV, mild pollution) year-on-year, and the concentration of major pollutants will drop significantly, reaching the best level in the past 10 years, making it into the ranks of good lakes.
According to the introduction of China Xiong'an Group Co., Ltd., the main body of the flood control project in the starting area of the South Juma River, Baigou Yinhe Right Embankment, Xin'an North Embankment Phase I, and Pinghe Left Embankment has been completed in Xiong'an New District, with a once in 200-year capacity. Today, with the construction of large parks such as "Millennium Beautiful Forest" and Xiongan Country Park, the goal of 300 meters into the park, 1 kilometer into the forest belt, and 3 kilometers into the forest has gradually become a reality.
