Mariupol, a port city on the Sea of Azov, has become a symbol of suffering.
Several evacuation attempts have failed and the residents who manage to get out of the city are often in need of care, explains an anesthetist.
- On Saturday, a three-year-old boy came to the hospital, he was injured on March 19, but could not be evacuated then, says anesthesiologist Olena Plevakina.
Several of the injured are children.
The boy Dima and his family were injured in Mariupol and the boy wonders where his father has gone.
