On Thursday morning, the first free pass time was in Uppsala County in mid-September, but the police emphasize that free booking times can differ from one day to another.

We have a high level of ambition to have a high level of service and must take some measures to rectify this, says Jonas Eronen, press spokesperson at Uppsala Police.
The police in the Central region (Gävleborg, Uppsala and Västmanland counties) went up in a so-called special event to solve the strained situation regarding passports.
One problem has been that the system has been used systematically as people have booked several times and then resell to the highest bidder.
Therefore, the police have made the bookings personal and more technical solutions are on the way.
- If you as a private person see that there are passport times for sale, you should remember that such activities tend to attract fraudsters.
So there is a risk that there is no pass time to buy without being cheated.
