European stock markets end in sharp decline, worried about gas deliveries

The Paris market ended down 1.21% at 6,659.87 points, Frankfurt by 1.31%, London by 0.83% and Milan by 1.10%.

They are suffering their worst decline, except for London, since the arrival of Covid-19 at the start of 2020, the European benchmark index the Eurostoxx 50 having lost 9.21% since January 1.
