KD believes that the problem of lack of elderly housing has been known for a long time.
According to local councilor Niklas Arvidsson, the opposition parties in the city of Borås have come up with several proposals to build more housing, which have been voted down by governing parties.

Niklas Arvidsson therefore believes that Johan Wikander's argument that the shortage was due to the pandemic does not hold.
