In addition to his tampered scooter, the 29-year-old driver was alcoholic.

He had a blood alcohol level of 2 g per liter of blood.

He was immediately placed in a sobering-up cell before being heard under police custody.

The scooter was seized by the police.

As a reminder, the Pont de Pierre is prohibited for motorized two-wheelers with a few exceptions (law enforcement, public transport, taxis, rescue and scooters).
