The presentation of the US budget for next year was made by Joe Biden in person on March 28.
The American president has come to present his priorities: there are three.
And they all correspond to political objectives.

This is, it seems, what Joe Biden's father was telling his son.
The first priority of the American president is fiscal responsibility and it is said very clearly, to put an end to the mess left by the previous administration and reduce the budget deficit.
For this, he proposes the creation of a tax for the richest Americans, to satisfy his left wing.
To satisfy his right wing, Joe Biden is emphasizing security, with an increase in military spending, given the international situation.
But an increase also, contrary to the demands of the most radical of his camp, of internal security expenditure, to respond to the rise in crime.

The solution is not to reduce funding for our police services
, he said,
it is to fund our police and give them all the tools they need.
This budget strengthens community policing on our streets, so officers know better the communities where they police.
Those in charge of alcohol, tobacco and firearms, the FBI will be able to hire the agents they need to fight violent crime and gun violence in our communities.

Finally, Joe Biden wants to build what he calls a better America and relaunch his social measures.
So far, Congress has been unable to agree on these proposals.
This therefore announces long and arduous discussions and negotiations.
