Tired Thai Airways has even sold aircraft seats.

Thai Airways recently announced on its Facebook page that it will sell seats to be installed on aircraft for 35,000 baht (approximately 1.26 million won) per pair through an online live broadcast.

The airline said, "If you are a true fan of Thai Airways, you should not miss a seat on this aircraft".

These seats were stored in a Thai Airways warehouse and will be available in three colors.

Thai Airways, considered one of the world's leading airlines, has been criticized for negligent management.

In the midst of this, the decisive blow was that countries closed their doors due to the COVID-19 crisis.

As aircraft operations were almost completely suspended, debts, which were still high, increased to 333 billion baht (about 12.68 trillion won), and eventually went into court management proceedings in May 2020.

Since then, in order to show the creditors of self-rescue efforts, they are actively engaged in 'money-making' and are actively selling various items.

In September of the same year, a restaurant resembling an airplane cabin was opened on the second floor of the Bangkok headquarters building.

Just like on airplanes, the business class and economy class areas are separated, and the chef who prepared the in-flight meals prepared and sold the dishes himself.

In addition, gas cylinders and large fryers were installed in five places, including in front of the headquarters building, and they even sold fried donuts, a favorite of Thai commoners.

A flight simulator (flying simulator) boarding program, a pilot training facility, was also sold to the public.

In October of that year, they made and sold recycled bags from discarded life jackets and escape slides.
