As Russia's military invasion of Ukraine continues, members of Japanese support groups who have helped people evacuated from Ukraine in neighboring countries meet online to provide psychological care for children at risk of life. I complained that it was necessary.

We met on the 29th with members of the Peace Boat Disaster Relief Center, a Japanese private support group.

From 19th of this month, three people entered Ukraine's neighboring country, Romania, and worked with local NGOs to help those who evacuated from Ukraine.

At the press conference, Secretary General Yasuhiro Ueshima explained that the activities for more than 10 days were to distribute food and daily necessities to people evacuated from Ukraine and to procure medicines for delivery to Ukrainian hospitals.

He also pointed out support for children as a major issue that he realized locally, and pointed out the importance of mental care for stressed children and the importance of finding a hospital that accepts children with childhood cancer.

"Some children were still unable to sleep because the sight of tanks entering the yard and missiles flying was stuck in their heads," said Ueshima. I need your support. "

The three members will return to Japan on the 30th and continue to support from Japan.
