Two pedestrians were knocked down by a car, this Sunday evening, in Puteaux (Hauts-de-Seine).

For reasons still undetermined, the 86-year-old motorist would not have slowed down and therefore mowed down two people, reports

The retiree was coming out of an underground car park at the wheel of a Volkswagen Polo.

Once outside, she wouldn't have stopped.

She crossed the sidewalk and then the roadway before continuing on the sidewalk opposite and hitting the facade of a business.

A seriously injured pedestrian

Both victims were injured, one seriously.

One of the pedestrians suffered facial trauma, the other multiple leg injuries.

They were taken care of by the emergency services and taken to the Beaujon hospital in Clichy.

The driver was also taken to hospital.
