A former resident of Laigneville (Oise) was surprised to receive a phone call from mayor Christophe Dietrich on Monday.

The elected official asked him to go to the town to recover the waste he had illegally dumped in nature the day before, at the edge of a path.

The author of this uncontrolled garbage dump received two fines, reports

.

The culprit discovered

One amounts to 135 euros for the abandonment of waste on public roads and the other to 250 euros to pay for the work of municipal teams.

After discovering the garbage, the mayor had identified the culprit thanks to labels left on boxes and CCTV images.

It's about a man who had left town and dumped the unusable contents of his rental.

The individual first suggested to Christophe Dietrich to drop off the garbage at his old address, unaware that the mayor was aware of his move and again trying to get rid of his rubbish.
