51-year-old woman found strangled to death in Versailles

A 51-year-old woman was found dead at her home in Versailles (Yvelines), after an alcoholic party organized on the night of Tuesday March 22 to Wednesday March 23.

According to the first findings, the victim would have suffered multiple violence, reports

The body, naked, was discovered by a relative, Wednesday, around 7:30 am.

Despite the help on the spot, she could not be revived.

According to the first elements, the victim was strangled.

An incarcerated man

An investigation was opened and entrusted to the judicial police.

According to information from the prosecution, a first suspect, aged 49, was indicted and remanded in custody on Friday.

Known to justice, he is being prosecuted for murder and for a suspicion of rape.

A woman was also taken into police custody and then placed under assisted witness status.
