A 22-year-old young man was found tied up and injured on Monday morning at the edge of a road at the exit of the hamlet of Saillancourt in Sagy (Val-d'Oise).

The victim was discovered by municipal agents from Vexin, reports

The man was sitting on a stone.

An open investigation

Immediately alerted, the gendarmes went to the scene.

The firefighters were also mobilized to take care of the young man, who suffered from several bruises on his face.

He was rushed to hospital in a rush.

A police investigation has been opened to shed light on this case.

The circumstances of the attack and the perpetrator(s) remain to be clarified.

The only certainty is that the victim is not a resident of the town.
