The identity candidate hailed what he considers to be "the greatest show of force of this campaign", at a time when his campaign is unscrewing in the polls.
His supporters are hoping for a “hidden vote” allowing him to reach the second round on April 10.

It is 4 p.m., thousands of tricolor flags are waving fervently.

Because for the past few weeks, the former Cnews columnist has been struggling.
Eric Zemmour is now in fourth or even fifth position in the opinion polls, sometimes ten points behind Marine Le Pen and access to the second round.
So, at the podium this Sunday afternoon in front of tens of thousands of people, his supporters sweep away these ominous birds.
“They want to convince you that your vote is useless, that the election is already written.

Hidden vote or sham meetings?
This is the last hope of the zemmourists in the home stretch.
That a hidden vote, impossible to detect for polling institutes, is revealed on the evening of 10 April next.
"I don't trust the polls.
It reassures me to see these thousands of people today.
Like me, I think a lot of people are afraid to say they're voting for Eric Zemmour,” says Rebecca, 21.
“The polls have crashed in the regional overestimating the National Rally.
Marine Le Pen's score depends on the mobilization of the working classes, which is not yet certain, so I think the communicating vessels can still work,” adds Quentin, 27.
"The polls are falling but I don't believe it," agrees Kevin, 21.

For months, Eric Zemmour's opponents have been constantly claiming, conversely, that the most crowded rooms do not win.
That good television audiences like millions of views on social networks do not fill the ballot box.
Marine Le Pen herself, the day before, was ironic about the upcoming big meeting of her identity rival.
“What is important in a presidential campaign is proximity, not gigantism”.
