In tonight's "Agenda special", the Left Party's party leader Nooshi Dadgostar says that Sweden should not join NATO, but that she wants a military consensus.

- My opinion is that we are much safer in Sweden if we are militarily non-aligned.

However, I am concerned that we have a broad consensus.

That we do this together as a people and a nation.

- It is not often I agree with Carl Bildt, but in this matter I do.

There is a left and there is a right, but Swedish defense is all of us Swedes together.

Can you change your attitude towards NATO?

- I think it is very important and I am convinced that many parties here reconsider previous decisions.

For example, it was wrong to abolish conscription in 2008. It was wrong to close down the regiments on the assembly line, as we have done, especially during the alliance period.

We need to discuss what has happened with a great breadth in Sweden's Riksdag.

- But the reason why we think that Sweden should be militarily non-aligned is that we think we should have a self-determination over which foreign policy and defense policy we should have.

Should we send young women and men to fight in other countries' wars?
