On the 27th, Iranian Foreign Minister Abdullahyan and the Deputy Secretary-General of the European External Action Service Moura held a meeting in Iran.

The two sides exchanged views on the latest negotiation progress of the Vienna talks and discussed the remaining differences.

Abdullahyan said all parties to the Vienna talks, especially the United States, must take a pragmatic approach to considering the remaining differences.

He said that the lifting of sanctions is closely related to the interests of the Iranian people and the country, and the lack of a political decision by the United States on the issue of lifting sanctions is an obstacle to reaching the final outcome of the negotiations.

Mora also submitted a report on the latest consultations between the parties to the Iranian side.

Both sides said they would maintain close communication in the coming days.
