In Poland, a neighboring country of Ukraine, ministerial talks between the United States and Ukraine in charge of foreign affairs and defense are taking place.

It is the first time that the two major ministers of both countries have directly talked with each other since the military invasion by Russia began, and it seems that opinions have been exchanged on the ideal form of military support by the United States.

According to the White House, ministerial talks between US Secretary of State Blinken and Secretary of Defense Austin, as well as Ukraine's Foreign Minister Kleba and Defense Minister Reznikov began on the morning of the 26th and on the night of the 26th of Japan time in Poland, a neighboring country of Ukraine.

The White House has not announced the talks in advance and has not disclosed the details of the talks so far.

Ukraine's President Zelensky is calling for more aggressive weapons such as fighters and tanks at the NATO summit this week.

On the other hand, the US side is cautious about providing fighter aircraft, etc., saying that it is important not to lead to a direct military clash between Western countries and Russia. It seems that opinions have been exchanged.

President Biden also participated in some of the talks.
