The performances will be played on six occasions at the end of March and beginning of April at the Forum Theater in Köping.

Cecilia Lind plays Ellen in The Emigrants.

She feels happy to be able to do what she is passionate about.

- It's my passion for a long time.

I have wanted to play theater since I was little, says Cecilia Lind.

"Is very current today"

As the first theater group with actors who have different forms of functional variations, Änglarna has had the opportunity to dramatize Vilhelm Moberg's The Emigrants.

It will be a meeting between past and present.

- It feels great to tell this story about Sweden's history, which is also very relevant today with the influx of refugees.

People fleeing and we have fled our country.

It feels great, says drama teacher Maria Berggren.

Enrolled in LSS

The group has existed since 1999 as a leisure group.

In 2007, they were able to start a daily activity group at Hagateatern in Köping.

- All are registered within LSS, we are about 17.

We also have guest actors from Hagateater and some from LSS from Arboga, says Carina Eriksson who is also a drama teacher.
