Sisi confirms Egypt's rejection of unilateral measures regarding filling and operating the Renaissance Dam

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi reiterated his country's rejection of any unilateral measures regarding the filling and operation of the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam.

During a press conference with his Rwandan counterpart Paul Kagame, today, Saturday, Sisi stressed the need to reach a binding legal agreement on the management and operation of the Renaissance Dam.

Al-Sisi said that cooperation between the Nile Basin countries must achieve the common interests of all countries, not achieve the interest of one country at the expense of another.

Al-Sisi added that he discussed today, Saturday, with his Rwandan counterpart Paul Kagame, the existence of many opportunities to advance cooperation between the two countries.
