Chinese authorities announced on the 21st that all passengers on the Eastern Airlines flight that crashed with 132 people on board were dead.



Eastern Airlines Flight Accident Emergency Measures Command Headquarters said at a press conference, "It has been confirmed that all 123 passengers and 9 crew members aboard the plane were killed."



Command headquarters also said there were no signs of explosives found in the wreckage.



"As a result of testing 41 out of 66 samples collected from the wreckage found at the site, no inorganic explosives or organic explosives were detected," said Zhu Tao, head of the Civil Aviation Administration's aviation safety office, at a press conference.
