A slip of the tongue from Biden reveals his intention to send troops to Ukraine .. Video

US President Joe Biden made a new mistake while making statements about Ukraine, forcing the White House to correct his words.

It seemed that President Biden committed a slip of the tongue when he said, in a speech before US forces in Poland, a phrase that suggested that he would send soldiers into Ukraine, which is at war with the Russian army.

Addressing the soldiers, he added: "You will see when you are there, and some of you were there, women and young men standing in the middle of (the road) and in front of the cursed tank, saying we will not leave (...)".

It was understood from the phrase "when you will be there" that troops would be deployed in Ukraine.

What added to the view of some that Washington decided to send troops to Ukraine was that Biden was speaking in front of the 82nd Airborne Division.

But the US administration later confirmed that there was no change in the position of the Biden administration.

"The president has made clear that we will not be sending American forces to Ukraine, and there is no change in that position," a White House spokesperson told Fox News.

This was the position of the US president, even months before the outbreak of war in Ukraine on February 24.

By March 17, the number of US forces in Europe had risen to 100,000, up from 80,000 in January.

In light of the war, the Biden administration is considering increasing the number of US forces in Europe further to counter the Russian threat, but there has been no talk of sending troops to Ukraine.

Biden tells the 82nd Airborne they're going to Ukraine:
