According to SVT's survey, the six municipalities that have received Ukrainian refugee children of school age so far are Vadstena, Kinda, Åtvidaberg, Norrköping, Boxholm and Linköping.
40 Ukrainian refugees
In the municipality of Åtvidaberg, 40 Ukrainian refugees have so far been received through municipal responsibility, but there are more in the municipality who live with relatives and friends.
The municipality estimates that ten of the Ukrainian refugees are school-age children, of whom six are of primary school age and two to three are of preschool age.
- Nobody has started school yet.
We will offer schooling from next week.
On March 28, we will try to start teaching or at least map out what needs the children have, says Robert Bredberg who is the municipal director in Åtvidaberg municipality.
