The recruitment policy is tilted towards the grassroots, and some provinces relax household registration restrictions

Observing the recruitment announcements issued by various places, it can be found that Guangxi, Jiangxi, Hainan, Hubei and other provinces have significantly expanded their recruitment for provincial examinations this year, and some provinces have reduced their recruitment, such as Yunnan, Xinjiang and other places, the largest reduction is more than 30%.

From the perspective of recruitment policies, the recruitment of civil servants in various regions continues to favor fresh graduates and grassroots.

For example, in this year's recruitment in Henan, 2,163 plans were added to grass-roots towns and towns. For towns and towns in poverty alleviation counties, measures such as appropriately lowering educational requirements, not restricting professional conditions, adjusting the age of applicants, and facing local household registration were adopted to lower the entry threshold.

This year, Jilin recruited more than 90% of the positions for the new graduates of ordinary colleges and universities to apply for the examination. 2,923 plans were arranged to recruit fresh graduates of ordinary colleges and universities, and 1,088 plans were arranged to supplement the civil servants of township and township organs, and to enrich and strengthen the work force of township and township organs.

Some provinces have also appropriately loosened household registration restrictions in their recruitment policies.

For example, it was pointed out in Hebei's announcement that if the applicant's spouse, parents, parents-in-law, and in-laws have permanent household registration in Hebei Province, the applicant can be deemed to have their household registration.

"The relaxation of household registration and student source restrictions will allow more candidates from other provinces to participate in the provincial examination, and more outstanding talents will flow in." Zheng Wenzhao, an expert at the Huatu Education Research Institute, said.

In addition, Huang Jianhong, a researcher at the Soochow Think Tank of Soochow University and a professor at the School of Politics and Public Administration, pointed out that it is a significant trend in recent years to pay attention to the grassroots and fresh graduates in the recruitment of civil servants. On the other hand, it is also to encourage young talents to go to the grassroots level, improve the quality of the grassroots civil servants, and make the civil servants more perfect.
