The United States and the European Union are uniting to reduce their energy dependence on Russia.

The US government has announced that it will increase its deliveries of liquefied natural gas (LNG) to the EU to help it reduce its dependence on Russian fossil fuels in order to deprive Moscow of its main source of income.
