And in the work of producing a new reindeer husbandry law, it is discussed whether it should not apply to all Sami villages and that it should also include moose hunting.

The Sami National Union: Creates unnecessary polarization

The Swedish Sami National Association thinks it is unfortunate that the information, which is only a basis for discussion, has been leaked.

- This creates an unnecessary polarization, especially in Norrbotten and Västerbotten, where moose hunting is a big issue, says Matti Blind Berg, who is the union chairman for SSR.
