A one-year-old baby died in a violent collision between a car and a bus on the D 915, between Chars and Marines (Val-d'Oise), this Wednesday afternoon.

For four hours, nineteen firefighters and four Samu medical teams intervened to take care of the victims.

The little girl died on the spot.

His brother and his mother, aged 33, were evacuated in absolute urgency.

The vital prognosis of the driver was still engaged in the evening.

The bus driver, almost unharmed, was taken to hospital in relative emergency.

A dangerous overtaking?

An investigation has been opened to determine the circumstances of the accident.

According to the first elements, the mother wanted to overtake a car and found herself facing the bus.

Despite his efforts, the driver of this one could not do anything to avoid the shock.

Both vehicles will be inspected.
