Videos or images containing perfect optical illusions are a huge hit on social networks.

In recent days, it's a video broadcast on TikTok then shared on Reddit that has caused the buzz and thrilled Internet users, reports

.

On the short 12-second video, we first see a dog's head protruding behind a low wall or a roof.

But a few seconds later, the animal moves... allowing the spectators to understand that it is in fact a cat.

On Reddit, the images have been viewed more than 35,000 times.

The brain, an image maker

After watching the video, many netizens expressed their surprise.

"I didn't expect it at all", one of them testified on Reddit, while another admits that "this cat has the best camouflage".

At first, the human eye clearly perceives the head of a white dog with a black muzzle and mouth.

The animal seems to be lying on the roof but we cannot see the rest of its body.

But the person behind the camera then whistles and the head of the cat, which was standing behind, suddenly appears.

This is a fine example of what our brain can produce to interpret and make sense of information perceived by our eyes, notes
