Voting intentions in the first round of the 2022 presidential election
This week, the trend is confirmed for a potential duel between Emmanuel Macron and Marine Le Pen after the first round of the elections.
Despite a drop, the outgoing president is maintaining his comfortable lead, which he has notably acquired since the start of the conflict in Ukraine.
According to
Harris-Interactive,
Emmanuel Macron would thus be credited with 29.5 of voting intentions in the first round of the presidential election.
The finding is nevertheless more severe for the
Elabe
Institute , which would only credit it with 27.5% of voting intentions, against 33.5% at the beginning of March.
The same
Elabe
institute notes a progression for the candidate of the National Rally, Marine le Pen.
The latter thus goes from 18% of voting intentions to the first on March 16 to 20% at the start of the week.
The other institutes, on the other hand, do not see any progress, the candidate nevertheless retaining her second place.
On the side of Jean-Luc Mélenchon, the candidate of La France Insoumise, all the institutes show progress in the polls for the first round of the election.
According to
Opinion Way
, the far left candidate would thus be at 14% of voting intentions this week, against 12% last week.
Same observation for
Ifop-Fiducial,
which places the candidate in third place for the first round, still at 14% of voting intention.
