ASMPA nuclear cruise missiles can carry not only nuclear warheads, but also conventional warheads, and are an important part of France's air deterrence.
The statement also stated that "French Defense Minister Parly is satisfied with the test" and "this success marks the entry of the modified ASMPA missile into the production stage."
