A search warrant was then issued against him, but the case fell visibly into oblivion.

Until, two years later, the police came to ring at his official home in Roubaix.

They are greeted by the interested party, immediately arrested.

In court, the detainee, who has 35 entries in the criminal record, explained that he had rebuilt his life and had not committed any offense during the past two years.

With the Covid-19 epidemic, his file had been forgotten.

The judge sentenced him to three months in prison, plus the additional eight months he still had to serve in March 2020.
