It was early on Wednesday morning that 113 preschool children, their parents and educators received the message that Lönndalen had completely burned down and Junibackens had been damaged by smoke and water in connection with the big fire in Ängelholm.

- It was a lot of sadness and a lot of emotions right then.

We had to be there for a while before we found out that we had new premises at our disposal, says Ann Marie Skoglösa, principal of Södra utmarken's preschools.

But then they went fast.

The principal and staff were already on Thursday morning, ie the day after, in the old Villanskolan's premises where the preparation began.

Message until the summer

On Monday, all 113 children from the two preschools Lönndalen and Junibacken will be merged and there they will be allowed to be together, at least until the summer.

- Now all six departments with educators and preschool children will be together, says Ann Marie Skoglösa.

And today is a special day for Hugo Månsson because he will have lunch at his big brother's school.

- We little ones can sit at a table then there is a table where the big ones can sit, he says.

Many memories

Camilla Henriksson managed to work at Lönndalen's preschool for 22 years before it burned to the ground.

- There are a lot of memories, events and people.

Both children and staff who are played a little in between, she says.
