The Prosecutor's Office considers it "reckless" to file the investigations for the management of the abuses of Mónica Oltra's ex-husband

The investigation of the case that investigates the actions of the Ministry of Equality directed by

in the case of the

is resumed this afternoon with the statement as investigated by the general director of Children and Adolescents, Rosa Molero, the first political appointee charge to appear before the judge.

She does so after the instructor has rejected the file request made by two defendants and has done so with the support of the

's Office , which, for the first time, considers that the lack of protection denounced by the minor under guardianship should be investigated.

The case was reopened by order of the

on December 30, after the head of the Court of Instruction 15 decreed the dismissal in October, after the Prosecutor's Office requested it in a letter dated July.

The Public Ministry was then protected by the fact that the five-year prison sentence for

was not final and, therefore, there was no consolidated account of the events, but only a provisional one.

"Any eventual criminal significance goes through the previous existence of criminal behavior by Luis Ramírez that would have been covered up by the action of those reported," the letter from him collected.

That sentence was ratified last September by the Superior Court of Justice, but it is still appealed in the Supreme Court.

Even so, and in view of the statements of the first six investigated, the Prosecutor's Office now defends, as does the judge, that

and officials of Equality, as requested by the territorial director, Carmen Fenollosa, and the psychologist at the juvenile center where the teenager lived, Ana Isabel Junquera.

She considers that it is not the "appropriate procedural moment" to "discriminate" between those investigated because "the most elementary investigative activity has not even been completed."

In fact, in his brief, the prosecutor considers that the request to bring forward the end of the investigation of certain charges

, and his purpose is understood to be "compromising the agility of the process".

The judge ratified in an order last Monday that he dismisses the file request, considering that the investigation still does not allow "to be able to specify the events that occurred and, especially,

."

Thus, both the psychologist and

will continue to be charged.

The latter presented last week a letter with which she intended to clarify something that she herself, by revealing the content of the reserved report made by Equality, brought to the cause: the restraining order of Ramírez Icardi towards the minor decreed on July 28, 2017 and that was not fulfilled until August 16.

As Fenollosa wanted to make clear, Equality was not aware of the restraining order on July 28 because, according to his version, although two registration stamps appear in the document exhibited by the judge, "

", which does not know that order until August

, one week later.

To justify it, Fenollosa provided the acknowledgment of receipt and the computerized record.

"There is no evidence to date that there was any notification prior to August 8," he assured.

On this matter as well as the report itself, described by the Court as "parallel instruction", the person who ordered it will respond today, the Director General of Children, Rosa Molero, who will appear after doing so the deputy director,

In addition to them, four more Equality officials appear as defendants in this new batch of statements, up to a total of 13.
