Mentidero de las Salesas The State Lawyer asks the Supreme Court to maintain its rejection of the pardons of the 'procés'
Justice A divided Supreme Court rejects all appeals against the pardons of the 'procés'
The Plenary of the Constitutional Court has dismissed the amparo appeal filed by Oriol Junqueras and Raül Romeva against the Supreme Court ruling that sentenced them to 13 and 12 years in prison, respectively, as authors of a crime of sedition in competition with a crime of embezzlement of public funds.
The appeals have been rejected by six votes to three.
They have the particular votes of the magistrates Juan Antonio Xiol, María Luisa Balaguer and Ramón Sáez.
They did not participate in the deliberation because magistrates Antonio Narváez and Cándido Conde-Pumpido abstained.
Neither did Judge Alfredo Montoya, for health reasons.
It only remains for the TC to resolve the appeals for the convictions of the
procés
presented by Dolors Bassa and Joaquim Forn.
The plenary session will address them tomorrow and, like those studied today, they will be rejected.
