With this double, Marie-Antoinette Katoto continues her impressive record with 22 goals in 24 appearances in the red and blue jersey this season, including 5 achievements in the Champions League.

The Bavarians were however the most dangerous at the start of the match and at the end of the game for their first at the Allianz Arena, in front of 13,000 spectators on the 70,000 places of the enclosure hitherto reserved for boys.

After hitting the upright twice (66th, 79th), they ended up reducing the score on a free kick with a powerful strike from Klara Bühl that Parisian goalkeeper Barbora Votikova failed to repel (84th).

PSG, undefeated for 5 months, inflicted the first defeat on the Bavarians since November, who lost in the league to Wolfsburg 1-0.

"We played a fantastic match against a team at the absolute top level," Bayern coach Jans Scheuer told the club's women's section website after the game.

"Overall, we missed a bit of luck. But I'm absolutely happy with the performance and thanks to Klara's goal, everything is possible in the second leg."
