A Swedish language teacher at a Swedish Education for Foreigners (SFI) school sparked panic in one of her classrooms due to her harsh treatment and screaming at Muslim refugee students in the southern Swedish city of Malmö.

And the teacher appeared, in a video clip that has been widely circulated since the tenth of this March, screaming at a Muslim student because she did not know the answer to a question related to the meaning of “the penis” in the Swedish language.

"How long have you lived in Sweden? Don't you know the meaning of the word?"

This is how the teacher appeared, hitting her hand on the student's table, waving her hand in front of her and reprimanding.

The teacher provoked panic among the male and female students, which prompted another Muslim student to stand up and ask permission to leave the classroom, saying, "I am afraid," to which the teacher replied, screaming, "You can't go anywhere, you're stuck here, what do you do when you're afraid? Come on!"

Then the classroom door closed.

In another video clip of the same incident, several students appeared leaving the classroom, including the student, who did not know the answer to the teacher's question.

Users of video networking sites circulated widely on all platforms, expressing their shock at the incident, and demanded that action be taken against this teacher.

In response to it on its official Twitter account, the government stated that "the case is under investigation."

She said the teacher had been placed on sick leave and psychological care was provided to the students. "Swedish law prohibits any discrimination and abuse against students," she said.

According to local Swedish media sources, school principal Andreas Ericsson and director of the Swedish for Foreigners Program in Malmö said, "I was horrified and shocked, like everyone else, from what I saw. This is something we are not used to."

This case is under investigation.

According to the school's headmaster, a substitute teacher has been put in charge of the class, and counseling has been offered to the students.

All discrimination and violation against students are prohibited according to Swedish law.
