896 positive infected persons have been closed-loop transferred to the designated hospital for new coronary pneumonia in Shanghai for isolation treatment or isolation medical observation. The current condition is stable.

Wu Jinglei said that at present, Shanghai is facing the most severe and complex challenge of the epidemic situation since the normalization of prevention and control, which has brought huge challenges to the traceability and prevention and control work.
Shanghai will continue to improve the level of differentiated and precise prevention and control in different regions, quickly and effectively deal with clustered epidemics in local areas, and maximize the protection of people's lives and health.
The newly announced "New Coronavirus Pneumonia Diagnosis and Treatment Plan (Trial Version 9)" pointed out that centralized isolation management can be implemented for mild cases, and the isolation place is not limited to medical institutions. Regarding the Fangcang shelter hospitals that are concerned by the public, Wu Jinglei said that the purpose of establishing Fangcang shelter hospitals is to classify and manage infected people and make better use of medical resources.
For the setting and opening of such places, Shanghai will make corresponding work plans and relevant resource reserves according to the requirements of the state and the epidemic situation here.
