Nine more years in prison for the imprisoned opponent.

A Russian judge recognized, this Tuesday March 22, Alexeï Navalny guilty of "fraud" and "contempt of court".

For this reason, the prosecution had requested barely more last week: that the sentence of two and a half years of detention, which Alexeï Navalny has been serving for a little over a year, be increased to thirteen years of imprisonment.

In this case, Alexei Navalny is found guilty of having embezzled millions of rubles in donations paid to his anti-corruption organizations but also of "contempt of court" during a previous trial.
