To mobilize his electorate less than three weeks before the first round of the presidential election, Fabien Roussel announced Monday evening to launch a series of "apéroussel".

These aperitifs organized and financed by communist activists will take place in village squares, at the exit of metro entrances or at the bottom of buildings.

This is Fabien Roussel's latest idea to boost his campaign less than three weeks before the first round of the presidential election.

The communist candidate wants to launch a series of friendly public meetings with his supporters, called the "apéroussel".

Credited with around 5% in the polls, the leader of the PCF therefore wishes to diversify his campaign and offer, in addition to the traditional towing, door-to-door and media interventions, 500 aperitifs by April 10.

I'm launching the Apé'Roussel tonight!

Until the first round, let's organize aperitifs every evening to present our program in a friendly atmosphere.

And in moderation on drinks!

Aperitifs at the metro exit

These "apéroussels" must start this week, as the candidate announced Monday at a meeting in Nantes.

They will be organized by the communist militants themselves, in village squares, at the exit of metro entrances or at the bottom of buildings.

The latter will also provide drinks and various foods.

As Fabien Roussel's entourage explains to

RMC

, these aperitifs "allow us to discuss politics in a more convivial way".

This Tuesday, in an interview with Le

Parisien

, the communist candidate explained that in the event of a Macron-Le Pen second round, he would call "to block the far right".
