The "Communiqué" shows that in 2021, there will be a total of 248 transport airports in my country (for Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan regions, the same below), with a passenger throughput of 907.483 million, cargo and mail throughput of 17.828 million tons, and aircraft take-offs and landings of 9.777 million. Compared with the previous year, the growth rate was 5.9%, 10.9% and 8.0% respectively.

　　The "Communiqué" shows that in 2021, there will be a total of 248 transport airports in my country, all of which are transport airports with regular flights, and 244 cities (or regions) with regular flights.

The new general aviation transportation airports for regular flights during the year include Hubei Jingzhou Shashi Airport, Jiangxi Jiujiang Lushan Airport, Shandong Heze Mudan Airport, Anhui Wuhu Xuanzhou Airport, Sichuan Chengdu Tianfu Airport, Hunan Chenzhou Beihu Airport, and Guangdong Shaoguan Danxia Airport.

Cities (or regions) with new scheduled flights during the year include Jingzhou in Hubei, Jiujiang in Jiangxi, Heze in Shandong, Wuhu in Anhui, Chenzhou in Hunan, and Shaoguan in Guangdong.

Qingdao Liuting Airport was moved to Qingdao Jiaodong Airport, and Lianyungang Baitabu Airport was moved to Lianyungang Huaguoshan Airport.

The passenger throughput of the three major urban transport airports in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou accounted for 18.0% of the passenger throughput of all domestic transport airports.

There are 32 transport airports with an annual passenger throughput of 2 to 10 million, an increase of 5 over the previous year, and the completed passenger throughput accounts for 18.5% of the passenger throughput of all domestic transport airports.

There are 187 transport airports with an annual passenger throughput of less than 2 million, which is the same as the previous year, and the completed passenger throughput accounts for 10.7% of the passenger throughput of all domestic transport airports.

The cargo and mail throughput of Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou transport airports accounted for 44.9% of all domestic transport airport cargo and mail throughput.

There were 187 transport airports with an annual cargo and mail throughput of less than 10,000 tons, a net increase of 5 over the previous year. The completed cargo and mail throughput accounted for 1.3% of the cargo and mail throughput of all domestic transport airports.

Among all regions in China, East China has the highest proportion of passenger throughput and cargo and mail throughput, accounting for 28.1% and 42.1% respectively.

In 2021, there will be 24 and 25 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) with positive growth in passenger throughput and cargo and mail throughput respectively.
