A 96-year-old man who survived the Nazi German mass slaughter of Jews, the Holocaust, and lived in Kharkiv, Ukraine's second largest city, was killed by a Russian attack.

According to the announcement of the Foundation, which is working to tell about the Holocaust, the person who died was Boris Romanchenko, who died in Kharkov's home on the 18th after being bombarded.

Romanchenko was born near Sumy in northeastern Ukraine and was taken to Dortmund in western Germany in 1942 by Nazi Germany.

After that, he was sent to various camps such as the Bouchenwald concentration camp, where many Jews were killed during World War II, and was involved in the production of Nazi German missiles.

After surviving the Holocaust, Romanchenko has been involved in activities to convey the reality of persecution by Nazi Germany to posterity for many years.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Kleba posted on Twitter on the 22nd, "It's an outrageous crime. He survived Hitler and was killed by Putin."
