143 bodies found in a mass grave in Iraq

The Directorate of Civil Defense in Iraq announced that 143 bodies had been recovered from a mass grave in the city of Mosul, Nineveh Governorate, which was seized by the terrorist organization “ISIS” before liberating it from its grip.

And the Alsumaria website quoted the directorate as saying, “Civil Defense teams in Nineveh Governorate have retrieved the bodies of 143 unidentified skeletons dating back to the days of the liberation of Mosul from the terrorist gangs (ISIS) from a mass grave in Al-Rifai neighborhood behind Baha Al-Din Mosque on the right coast of the city of Mosul.” ».

She added, "The search and rescue team (the emergency convoy center) began to retrieve the bodies and hand them over to the Forensic Medicine Department, according to an official report."
