Another key issue in the

<Anchor> relocation process is the relocation of the Blue House National Crisis Management Center situation room.

According to the president-elect's plan, the function of this situation room is now installed in the Ministry of National Defense's control room, and as a result of our coverage, it is said that the task is not formidable.

Reporter Bae Jun-woo covered it.

<Reporter> The

Blue House National Crisis Management Center Situation Room is much larger and more complex than the Defense Ministry or the Joint Chiefs of Staff Situation Room.

This is because not only the military tactical command system, but also the police, firefighting, and disaster safety nets are connected.

The key to keeping President-elect Yoon Seok-yeol's promise to complete the relocation of the Oval Office in 50 days is to relocate the current Blue House situation room, which the president will lead.

I inquired about a company that SBS has specialized in the construction of situation rooms such as the Ministry of National Defense and the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

First of all, the opinion was that it would take two months to renovate unlike general buildings due to various protection facilities.

It is also expected that it will take at least a month or two to establish a video conferencing system, which is the core of the control room where all information is gathered and shared.

This is because, in addition to the newly installed lines, the lines of the security and internal networks must be rearranged, and stabilization work must also be carried out.

Considering the time the Ministry of Defense vacates the space, a company official said that the 50 days of the transition committee's plan would be longer for the new situation room to take shape.

The company, which has also been working on the integrated situation room of each military and the Gyeonggi Provincial Office, refused an official interview for reasons such as security issues.

In this regard, the transition committee explained that the military-related information, which is the core, is at the root of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, which is connected to the Blue House and the Ministry of National Defense.

He also emphasized that there is no need for relocation and there is no security gap because the system can be used in just a day or two by connecting to the network.
