Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, affirmed that "Mother's Day in the UAE has become a renewed occasion, in which we are honored to celebrate (Mother of the Emirates), Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, President of the General Women's Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, Supreme Chairwoman of the Foundation Family development, may God bless her with health and wellness, and reward her with the best reward in return for what she has given and progressed to this dear country, as well as to the region and the world, in terms of continuous giving and successive achievements.
This came during the inauguration of Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, the sessions of the international conference "Mothers.. Knights of Human Brotherhood", which was organized by the Ministry of Tolerance and Coexistence at "Expo 2020 Dubai", on the occasion of the celebration of the UAE and the Arab world on Mother's Day, in cooperation with the General Women's Union and councils Family Development, and the Higher Committee for Human Fraternity.
Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak said: “I am pleased to welcome all of you to this celebration of Mother’s Day, which is being held at (Expo Dubai), an embodiment of what this unique global exhibition represents of great interest in the human being, and confirming his primary role in shaping the present and building the future, and I am also pleased to express I greatly appreciate the cooperation of the General Women’s Union, Family Development Councils and the Higher Committee for Human Fraternity with the Ministry of Tolerance and Coexistence in organizing this international conference, which sheds light on what this dear occasion represents in celebrating the mother.”
He stressed that "HH (Mother of the Emirates) deserved, with merit and competence, all the appreciation and honor she receives from the important institutions in the world, for she is, praise be to God, a distinguished international figure, to whom we salute and congratulate today, and express our sincere thanks to her for her generous sponsorship of this conference, and we affirm We are very grateful for what she represents for all of us as a good example and a loyal role model.”
The sessions of the conference, which had a prominent Emirati and international presence, dealt with several main topics: the status of motherhood in a changing world, the pivotal role of the mother in the formation of a cohesive family, and the efforts and achievements of Her Highness the "Mother of the Emirates" in these areas.
Speaking at the conference, Minister of Community Development, Hessa bint Issa Buhumaid, Managing Director of the Environment Agency - Abu Dhabi, Razan Al Mubarak, Commissioner-General of Zimbabwe for "Expo Dubai", Ambassador Mary Muby, and Founding Director of the Middle East Center Randa Bseisu, and co-founder of Mumzworld, Lina Khalil, Representative of Al-Azhar in the Egyptian Senate, Dr. Khadra Salem, in the presence of the Director-General of the Ministry of Tolerance and Coexistence Afra Al-Sabri, the Secretary-General of the Higher Committee for Human Fraternity, Counselor Mohamed Abdel Salam, and the Special Representative of the United Nations Secretary-General on Children and Armed Conflict, Virginia Gamba.

This woman, who has accompanied the various stages of her life with indescribable emotional, moral and material achievements, is the woman that His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, said: “Women are the soul of the place.”
For her part, Razan Al Mubarak confirmed that we in the UAE are fortunate to be in the care of His Highness, the “Mother of the Nation”, whom we are proud of as a global humanitarian symbol of giving, support and assistance.
