On board were two men: the driver, aged 54, was in cardiorespiratory arrest when help arrived.

Supported on the spot by the Samu, he had to be rushed to the Edouard-Herriot hospital.

His vital prognosis remains engaged.

The other passenger, a 50-year-old man, was able to get out of the crashed vehicle.

He was also taken to hospital but was only slightly injured.

An investigation has been opened.

According to the first elements, excessive speed would be the cause of the accident.
