Over the situation in Ukraine, where Russia's military invasion continues, President Biden of the United States held telephone talks with the leaders of four major European countries and confirmed that he would continue to provide military and humanitarian assistance to Ukraine.

President Biden is expected to share this policy at the G7 = Summit of the Seven Major Countries held this week and strengthen his opposition to Russia.

President Biden had an hour-long telephone conversation with leaders of Britain, France, Germany and Italy on the 21st.

"The leaders have discussed serious concerns about Russia's brutal operations in Ukraine, including attacks on civilians," Saki, a spokesman for the White House, said in a press conference. He said he confirmed that he would continue to provide humanitarian assistance to those who had evacuated domestically and internationally.

He also revealed that he also examined diplomatic support for Ukraine for a ceasefire.

Regarding the situation in Ukraine, President Biden will visit Poland, a neighboring country of Ukraine, after attending the NATO-North Atlantic Treaty Organization and the G7 summit in Brussels, the capital of Belgium, this week.

"President Biden feels that he can be very effective and influential," Saki said of the series of visits. He said it would be a place to confirm support and financial cooperation.
